1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Irrigation Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16479307), with registered office in Stevenage, UK.
By booking our services, accepting a quotation, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
We provide professional services including:
• Irrigation system design
• Irrigation system installation
• Irrigation system maintenance
• Irrigation system repairs
• Seasonal servicing (spring start-up / winterisation)
Services are provided across London, Hertfordshire and surrounding M25 areas.
3. Quotations & Pricing
• Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Pricing is based on site conditions, project complexity and system specification.
• Prices exclude materials unless specifically stated.
• VAT will be applied where applicable.
4. Variations & Additional Works
If additional work is required due to unforeseen site conditions, hidden obstacles, or customer requested changes, additional charges may apply.
5. Booking & Call-Out Policy
• Certain services may include a call-out fee covering up to 1 hour of engineer labour.
• From the second hour onwards, hourly labour charges apply.
• Materials and replacement parts are charged separately.
• A final invoice is issued after completion of work.
• Deposits (if paid) are deducted from the final invoice.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before appointment are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling may incur additional charges.
7. Access & Site Conditions
• Customer must provide safe and unrestricted site access.
• Customer must ensure water supply is available.
• Customer must inform us of underground utilities and services.
• Pets and hazards must be controlled during works.
• If access is not provided, a missed appointment fee may apply.
8. Engineer Arrival Times
Arrival times are estimates and may vary by up to 30 minutes due to traffic or operational delays.
9. Payments
• Payments are accepted via bank transfer.
• Payment is due upon invoice unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs.
10. Installation Warranty
We provide a 12-month installation warranty on new irrigation systems unless otherwise specified.
Warranty excludes:
• Freezing or frost damage
• Third-party damage
• Lack of maintenance
• Water supply or pressure issues
• Physical damage or misuse
11. Winterisation & Frost Protection
Damage caused by freezing temperatures is not covered unless winterisation service was carried out by Irrigation Solutions Ltd.
12. System Performance & Plant Health
System performance depends on water pressure, weather conditions, soil and plant health. We do not guarantee plant survival.
13. Water Authority Restrictions
We are not responsible for system restrictions caused by hosepipe bans or water authority regulations.
14. Underground Services & Hidden Risks
We are not liable for damage to underground services not disclosed before works begin.
15. Photography & Marketing Use
We reserve the right to take photographs or videos of installations and completed work for quality control, training, marketing and portfolio purposes.
Images may be used on our website, social media platforms and marketing materials. Personal identifying information will not be published without consent.
16. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, plant loss, landscaping damage, water restrictions or undisclosed site hazards.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
17. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control including extreme weather, flooding, strikes or supply chain disruption.
18. Website & Intellectual Property
All website content is the property of Irrigation Solutions Ltd and may not be copied or reused without permission.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
